Hey this is Chris from Equalize Designz and with this blog post there is a video embed that will show you step by step on how heat press on a light color garment. But before we go on you going to need of a printer, a light colored garment, a heat press machine and heat transfer paper made specifically for light colored fabric. Image Tracing in Adobe Illustrator




How would you like it if you knew how to convert your raster graphics to vector graphics, what i mean is how would you like to take your blurry pixelated image and change it to a better quality no pixelation image. Hey everyone welcome back to my channel, my name is Chris from Equalize Designz and in this post I will show you how to image trace in Adobe Illustrator. So the first thing you should do is to import your image in adobe illustrator, then what i do is i make a copy of the image by holding options for apple and alt for windows and i click and hold shift so i can drag it and keep them parallel.

Setting Up a Screen Printing Machine




Hey guys today we are going to do something a little different screen printing machine. What's up everyone my name is Chris from Equalize Designz and in this post I will be unboxing and setting up my screen printing machine. So the first thing that was in the box was the shirt plate that's where the shirt rests when you're screen printing, the next was a tool to tighten the screws when setting up and the arms.

Glass Etching with Armour Etch Cream



In previous blog posts we have been designing on mugs using Oracal 651 adhesive vinyl, would you like to see how we design on glass giving off a frost look. What’s up everyone Chris here from Equalize Designz today were going to be glass etching with Armour Etch Cream. If you have watch or read our blog post on applying adhesive vinyl onto mug I'm basically doing the same process up to when we start weeding the vinyl, if you haven't you can follow along. So we start off by grabbing our design and importing it into the Silhouette Studio then we will be tracing it by clicking the trace icon and highlighting our design.

Cutting with registration marks in the Silhouette Cameo


Have you ever used heat transfer paper before, depending on the design it could be very difficult to cut it out with scissors or a Xacto knife well I have a solution for that. Hey everyone its Chris from Equalize Designz today I will be cutting with registration Marks in the Silhouette Cameo. Let's begin starting by opening the Silhouette Studio and importing our design, we then use our trace tool to trace the design then we click on trace outer edge. Once design is traced you will click on the page and select registration Marks, after that you would select the type registration marks for your machine.
